Book a Consultation

A consultation is a scheduled appointment to review your situation in detail, discuss the options realistically and explain what each would involve.

What a consultation covers

  • a review of your documents, history and current status;
  • the options genuinely available to you, including any that are unlikely to succeed;
  • any deadline that applies, and what must be done before it;
  • what the practice can do within its licensed scope, and where a lawyer would be required instead;
  • the likely steps, timeline and fees if you decide to proceed.

No outcome can be promised at a consultation, and any representative who promises one should be treated with caution. What you should expect is a clear picture of where you stand.

Book an appointment

Appointments are scheduled through the practice’s online booking page. Choose the type of matter and a time that suits you.

A 30-minute consultation is $70. If you retain JAVED Legal and Immigration Services following the consultation, the consultation fee will be credited toward your professional retainer.

The practice accepts e-transfer, debit, cash, and credit card through LawPay. If you would prefer a shorter review at no charge first, you can request a free initial assessment.

What to bring or have ready

Bring any decision letter, notice or correspondence you have received, together with identity and status documents relevant to the matter. If your appointment concerns a tribunal or ticket matter, the notice will normally show the deadline and the file number.

Please do not email documents in advance unless you are asked to. If the practice takes your matter, a secure method will be provided.

If you are not sure whether your matter is one the practice can take, request an assessment first, or contact our office.
